— The house

The people behind Quasar.

A salon is only as considered as the people who build it. Quasar was founded by two, and is owned in partnership with three more — a small circle of people who share the same standard for craft, hospitality, and discretion.

— The founders

Two founders. One standard.

Aruna Rai Chauhan

Founder

@aruna_rai_chauhan

Aruna founded Quasar with a single conviction — that the salon Mohali deserved did not yet exist. The kind where a senior stylist actually listens before they touch your hair. Where the chair next to yours might be a celebrity’s, and you would never know it. Where the morning of someone’s wedding is treated with the gravity it deserves.

Today, Quasar is the address Punjab’s discerning clientele return to — not for the noise, but for the quiet. The room is small on purpose. The chairs are few. The stylists are senior, never juniors learning on you.

We don’t compete on price. We compete on the version of you that walks out the door.

Anmol Preet

Co-founder

@anmolpreetofficial

A recording artist and performer by craft, Anmol co-founded Quasar to bring the discipline of the stage into the salon — an obsession with how something looks under light, how it moves, how it ages by the third hour of an evening.

That sensibility shapes the room: the lighting, the music, the pace of a chair. The result is a salon that doesn’t just style hair, but stages it — for the camera, the wedding mandap, the evening that has to look right the moment it begins and still look right when it ends.

A good cut should look right the moment you stand up — and still look right on stage four hours later.

— The partners

The circle that built the house.

Quasar is built in partnership with three owners — entrepreneurs from different worlds, bound by the same standard for craft, hospitality, and discretion.
